Marc Benioff took a swing at Microsoft dubbing Copilot “Clippy 2.0” and criticizing its lack of corporate intelligence. Being a competitive person, it’s no surprise he’s pushing Salesforce News Agentforce as the superior solution. However, the fact that Microsoft is considering renaming Copilot to “agent” may indicate Benioff’s jab struck a chord. Although, on a personal note. I always thought it would have been a great idea for Microsoft Azure to bring Clippy back but this time with AI.
UiPath made waves at their Forward 7 conference, pushing Agentic Automation a move that focuses on the enterprise as a whole rather than just process automation. This positions UiPath’s Autopilot as a flexible system that drives agent creation and even can create specialized agents grounded in current and future automation needs. Looking toward an agent driven future.
