ℹ️ PQ3 for iMessage sets a new standard in secure messaging, addressing quantum threats and enhancing cryptographic security at scale. This was back in February 2024.

Apple SEAR announced a cryptographic upgrade for iMessage with PQ3, a post-quantum cryptographic protocol providing Level 3 security. This makes iMessage the first messaging service to implement such advanced encryption, surpassing other apps.
