Last week I was invited to be a keynote speaker at the Global AI Ethics Conference, in Dubai UAE. I also had the opportunity to dive into a workshop and massive two hours of conversations with…

The Theia Institute™ a cybersecurity & AI ethics think tank, based in Washington D.C. Navigated a GenAI workshop where we explored, discussed and all in all, may have found a common thread.

Here’s a summarized breakdown of my thoughts after this conference:

We’re at a crucial moment with AI and ethics, and from what I’m seeing, I am urging everyone to jump on board now. Right now, we have a unique opportunity where humans are still heavily involved in shaping how AI operates, especially with the handling of data.

Looking ahead, I see a future where AI isn’t just another tool in the box; it’s more like having a team of specialized agents on hand. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill AI assistants; they’re like project managers with their own personalities and roles. Imagine having one of these agents keeping tabs on all your projects, making sure everything’s on track and within budget. I’ll tell you… It’s a game-changer!

And let’s not forget about education. We’re talking about AI agents that can track students’ progress, pinpoint where they’re struggling, and dish out personalized help. It’s not just about making learning easier; it’s about giving teachers the insights they need to really make a difference.

But here’s the kicker: We’ve got to keep ethics front and center. As we dive deeper into AI, we need to make sure we’re doing it responsibly, without letting biases or risks run rampant. It’s all about finding that balance between innovation and doing what’s right.

So, buckle up, because the future of AI and ethics? It’s gonna be one heck of a ride.
