AI protests worldwide as SF company makes major announcement

At this point, many would agree that pausing GenAI is already off the table.

However, we do have people who are concerned. If you look at the news, and some of the larger companies you will see:

Companies have laid off staff due to the belief that GenAI can handle most of the workload.
Companies hesitant to hire new talent due to GenAI.
Widespread fear of job loss

On the other hand, I see more jobs being created, yet at the same time, classically trained corporations are not changing the standard thought process. It is time for a #mindsetchange

The new normal, especially for enterprise organizations should be:

‘ , ‘ ‘ : Retain existing staff but prioritize adaptability, while leveraging new AI, GenAI, Automation, and AI Agents to create a more versatile and robust business agility. Then find and hire those that are genuinely needed.

By retaining existing staff, you create trust, retain tribal knowledge, and fulfill that initial “you’re hired” and “welcome to the team handshake”.

Leaders need to wake up, before the culture they once thought they provided to the company at large, becomes “exactly what they didn’t want”.
