AI development today isnโt the Wild West, itโs something even more unpredictable. Weโre on ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ฎโ๐ฌ ๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐ฆ๐ฌ, where companies release ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฌ that break benchmarks yet arenโt truly tested. Each one emerges from behind closed doors, its creators rewriting governance policies on the fly, expecting blind trust. Yet trust isnโt given, itโs earned.
Other professions have standards
โ๏ธ ๐๐จ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ commit to โdo no harm,โ yet AI companies face no such obligation
๐ ๏ธ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ follow strict safety regulations, yet AI launches with no universal vetting
๐ก๏ธ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ is bound by a duty to serve and protect, yet AI serves only those with the most compute power
The lack of ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ, ๐๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ฒ isnโt driving progress , itโs creating a chaotic, high-stakes experiment that affects everyone , whether they signed up or not.
๐น ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐งโ๐ญ ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐, ๐ฐ๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ญ.
Not rigid constraints , yet a framework. Not corporate pledges , yet ๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ฌ ensuring AI is tested, vetted, and serving more than just those who control it.
๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฆ๐จ๐ฏโ๐ฌ ๐๐ก๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฆ. Maybe itโs time we rethink them for AI today.

Because right now, AI isnโt following any guiding principle , except โlaunch first, figure it out later.โ
And thatโs not a roadmap , thatโs a ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐.
