𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻’𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜, 𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱?

It’s curious to think: as LinkedIn quietly trains AI on user data, have we stopped to ask what the real cost is?

𝐔𝐊 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬? Could this AI-driven future be linked to something bigger, like LinkedIn compensating thought leaders and active participants down the road?

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.

With many AI leaders and companies scrambling for real data, real human insights, and interactions, LinkedIn could be a vast bastion for these insights. Or, it could turn into a synthetic AI-driven social reality due to the onset of those that use LLMs as thought generation.

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻: What if we pay or add incentives to those thought leaders out there to provide new insights, ideas, and perspectives, albeit human insights and perspectives?
