💯% yet let’s look at this from not just the manager, what happens if it’s a team, organization, or enterprise?
It’s true at the manager level, ineffective leadership may lead to micromanagement, hindering team productivity and morale. Similarly, in a company without strong leadership, there might be a lack of direction and decision-making, resulting in inefficiencies and frustration among employees.
Now, consider the concept of brave spaces. At the managerial level, embracing brave spaces means encouraging open communication, constructive feedback, and innovation within the team. Similarly, at the company level, fostering a brave space culture entails creating an environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and employees feel empowered to contribute ideas and address challenges collectively.
Contrastingly, without embracing brave spaces, both at the managerial and company level, there might be a tendency to avoid difficult conversations or suppress innovative ideas. This could lead to missed opportunities for growth and adaptation in a rapidly changing business landscape.
