Solid logic. I came to the same conclusion as many others have done before.
I tend to state this if not daily “It starts and ends with people”.
Then – It was getting the technology into the hands of the customer to provide ease of use and adoption.
Now – It is having the technology work for or with the customer to provide ease of use and adoption.
Next – It will be the technology actively adapting to each customer’s inputs, and the level of comfort of how much or where the customer will adopt or allow the technology.
So why do I think that the next phase is technology actively adapting? Because “It starts and ends with people”.
Put the customer in the loop, engage, empower, and let them decide how much or how little involvement they want. If we don’t enable “choice” then you end up not empowering the customer, you end up devaluing the customer and their choice.
