2022 will bring with it massive changes touching varying fields and ultimately the lives of us all.

Some of these changes are coming from previous years, some are tied to innovative ways to conduct or streamline enterprises. Many, however, are due to the changing times, culture, and events from the pandemic to many scientific breakthroughs.

Here are the big 3 change agents I am seeing:

1.  Automation:
With automation, you have newfound ways to provide more time back to your employees and remove some of the stress from their lives. This stress comes from running very static reports or forms that can take hours to run. These automations then move toward, addressing stress with your companies users, customers, and new clients as well. The more you automate the more you alleviate. Automation is also building in key elements of integration, API creation, and becoming a key tool in working towards a company’s digital transformation strategy.

2.  Web3.0:
Looking at the internet and its beginnings we see that data and forms of communication are pivotal to innovation and comprehension. With the addition of AI and ML that computers are using now. This provides a form of computer comprehension. This captured data then can be utilized or mapped to a level we have yet to understand ourselves. The easy and abridged version of Web 1,2,3 can be seen below.

i.    WEB 1.0 READ
ii.   WEB 2.0 READ–WRITE
iii.  WEB 3.0 READ-WRITE – UNDERSTAND

3.  Industry 4.0:
Industry, in general, has been a part of the human experience since we first had a bunch of people in a group working toward a common goal. That goal usually revolved around the idea of how can we do ‘this’ faster? Below are some examples that help to understand why we are moving to the age of 4.0.

i.    INDUSTRY 1.0 – Mechanical manufacturing, Steam Power
ii.   INDUSTRY 2.0 –  Assembly Line, Electrical Energy, Mass production
iii.  INDUSTRY 3.0 – Integration of electronics & information technology to automate manufacturing, and enterprises.
iv.  INDUSTRY 4.0 – Cloud computing, Data mining, metadata, cyber-physical systems. Everything as a service.

What are you seeing, and are you seeing these same key areas?
