🗣But what if ‘we’ don’t listen…

Here are the opposing interpretations, that highlight the potential drawbacks or challenges associated with each trend, the goal is not to discredit, the idea here is to offer a critical perspective on their effectiveness or feasibility. In general, the below could be what we end up ‘seeing’ if the rest of us don’t listen.

🔸 No. 1: AI Trust, Risk, Security & Management (AI TRiSM)
Opposite: Widespread distrust in AI systems due to significant security breaches and a lack of effective risk management, leading to skepticism about their overall utility.

🔸No. 2: Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM)
Opposite: Static and reactive threat management, addressing incidents as they occur rather than adopting a continuous and proactive approach.

🔸No. 3: Sustainable Technology
Opposite: Ignoring environmental and ethical considerations in technology development, with a focus solely on short-term gains without regard for long-term consequences.

🔸No. 4: Platform Engineering
Opposite: Fragmented and isolated engineering approaches, avoiding collaboration and standardization, leading to inefficiencies and compatibility issues.

🔸No. 5: AI-Augmented Development
Opposite: Resistance to AI integration in development processes, relying solely on human capabilities and rejecting AI as a valuable tool in the creative process.

🔸No. 6: Industry Cloud Platforms
Opposite: Centralized control and dependence on a single cloud platform, neglecting the benefits of diverse and decentralized industry-specific solutions.

Again to be clear. I am pointing these out for #perspective. Sometimes we cannot make real change until we look in the mirror and acknowledge that ‘we’ may be the problem. These opposite views are very human views of the things we all struggle with… Change.
