The next era – How AI will shape the IT landscape:

I had the chance to sit in and watch this panel of diverse leaders.

Here is what I got from it:

There was an interesting use-case that was brought up. There was a customer who wanted to solve for bad actors placing card scammers on ATMs 🏧

The interesting finding is that these bad actors are being found by and how they tend to use two hands 🙌 versus one hand 🖐️ when using the ATM. This visual cues set automatic processes in motion to verify and validate the customer or the culprit.

Below 👇 are some of the other quick key 🔑 points that were mentioned

🔹 Getting or gaining alignment, around privacy, governance, and model usage are key.

🔹 De-identify data. clean, cleanse, and remove protected or nebulous data.

🔹 We all want data governance, however, we don’t want to stifle data enablement.

🔹 Data Leakage, is still a major concern. Synthetic Data, can help here, but without the above 👆 points it would be hard to enable, maintain, and control it.

Lastly, Governance is not a blocker it is an accelerator. It tells the story, drives the understanding, and provides context that can enable a path that’s easy for others to follow.
