Automation success is … people! ‍♀️ ‍♂️ ️ ‍ ‍

We have all heard this in one way or another and all start to ask… what does that mean?

I recently had a podcast interview with Dr. Pelè where I attempted to explain just that. I know 30 min podcasts are not ideal and take time to listen to. I will say this is probably one of if not my best interview and worth a listen if you are interested in the topic of Automation is about people, and how automation can become a cultural change agent.

Here are some of the questions I answer in this interview.

1. How do I describe the Automation space?
2. Is there an easy way to describe and talk about RPA? Is automate “as is” a stand-alone solution?
3. How does RPA benefit you or the business you work with?
4. What does digital savvy mean?
5. How did I get into Intelligent Automation?
6. How does automation help the business and IT communicate and collaborate better, using automation?
7. What are the successful steps to creating a successful RPA automation team, project, or platform?
8. How and when to ACT? Alignment, Clarity, and Transparency
9. How does the people part of all of this come into play within automation?
10. Building momentum, enabling the first follower, and being a better leader.
11. How do you link technology to a person’s or employee’s success?
12. How do you build in process and automation ownership for your business users and overall your company?
13. People talk a lot about employee experience and customer experience. How are these both provided for using automation?
14. 90% or more have implemented some kind of automation. However, only 5-8% of small to medium companies have done this. Why have small businesses or medium businesses not adopted automation as much?
15. What are you excited about next in automation?
